Quick Post

I am running around like crazy today.  I have a job from 8:30-6 today, so I need to be out the door in a minute.  Another emergency oncall for the nanny company.  It pays well and I can’t turn down that much money, that’s for sure!  My only concern today is that this child (who is a toddler) does not know English.  That would definitely make for an interesting 10 hours.

Yesterday was a wonderful day.  I wrote for the morning, maintained what will equal a good per hour pay, and got to stop by my neighbors for a quick cup of tea.  It was great getting to catch up with her after the hectic holidays!  And then I was off to watch a 5 year old boy.  We played outside, played with playdoh, baked and colored.  What could be a better day?!  I kept saying–I should be behind a desk but instead I’m playing outside.  I was pretty happy with getting to enjoy the day that way!
